Zach Rapport (LPCA)

A brief introduction to Zach:
"I grew up with two alcoholic parents. As a result, I had trauma and pain—flashbacks, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. To help myself heal, I searched far-and-wide for anything that would help. Part of my healing journey led me to develop a wide range of skills and tools. I'm hoping that I can help others do the same.  I completed a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and earned a certificate in Alcohol & Drug Abuse. Currently I'm working on a Master's degree in Social work. In addition to this, I have 8 years of experience counseling others and over 26 years of experience teaching courses at colleges and universities."

Much of what Zach brings to the team is his unique combination of experiences, modalities, and trainings. For clients who are looking to work through trauma, addictions, and difficulties around family, and "family of origin," Zach brings extensive professional knowledge as well as a compassionate, gentle presence.
